The Tufts University Master of Public Health (MPH) Program arms you with the academic foundation and practical skills you need to make a difference in the community and around the globe.
As the MPH in this program is a generalist degree, the remaining courses are taken as electives to complete the necessary credits for the public health degree. The Friedman School pursues cutting-edge research and education from cell to society, including in molecular nutrition, human metabolism, population studies, clinical trials, nutrition interventions and behavior change, communication, food systems and sustainability, global food insecurity, humanitarian crises, and food economics and policy. Possible career settings include dental education, public and private research entities, philanthropies, community-based practice, government agencies, and insurance companies.
4. General Inquiries MPH students take a total of 14 full courses (42 credits total; each full-semester course is 3.0 credits) to earn their degree.
