I. Texas Bar Examination Components The Texas Bar Examination (TBE) consists of four component parts discussed below. In Illinois, a scaled score of 150 on the MBE is the 60th percentile, and a scaled score on the essays of 115 is the 1st percentile.
Basically, the scores are scaled so that a 150 means the same today as it did in 2010 as it did in 2008.
