Coogee is a gem of a place a small village with so much to offer the beach is beautiful with safe pools at both ends , there are the historic Wylies baths at the south end pretty much a locals spot and well worth a coffee on the deck or a swim , the beach at Coogee is popular in summer when the surf is big beware the shore break is extremely dangerous in general there is no surf there but the south end can produce massive swells 20 ft plus in the bay see my photos , great night life in the late closing pubs and huge selection of top restaurants and cafes , there are stunning walks around the coast , there are only 3 hotels Crown Plaza.
Take a few 'happy snaps' of you and your partner as the night becomes day and you will cherish them for ever. Nice to walk to Bondi or Bronte from here. Coogee Common .
