Chunking is a best practice teaching strategy and this format is very conducive to this method. Additionally, the multiple formats make it even more accessible for students. The book’s interface is one of its most disappointing features. Some of the examples come from cases, and some are purely fictional. Also it would be important to include Cyber Crimes; however, this could be added if the book can be remixed. The subject matter is just not done justice (pun intended). This deeply researched book dives into the ins and outs of the proceedings that led up to Frank’s trial, how the lynch mob fomented and why the grim details were covered up for so long. It's as good as any other text on criminal law that I've encountered so far. Probably would have been best at the beginning which would help with even better navigation. I found the prose both well-written and conversational, which contributes to the strength of this text. This is the most challenging aspect of the text because of the lack of the table of contexts/index and glossary, navigation is a serious issue if not read sequentially. Book Description.
