Nonetheless the room was very fit for purpose, it was clean, well appointed and the bed very comfortable.The only thing I didn't like in the room was the shower was in the bath - a walk in shower is so much nicer, but its very minor.Nice to see all the staff willingly give eye contact and smile. The restaurant was empty at 6pm on 23/12/19 yet we were sat by the staff to eat opposite the staff door from the kitchen . The staff were very helpful but essentially it is help yourself these days even including a self catering coffee machine offering warm coffee .
