"El Retorno del Hombre-Lobo", "The Craving", "Night of the Werewolf" ... call it what you like, this is my favourite Daninsky movie yet. The second film, "Vengeance of the Zombies" is pretty bad. With this practical makeup, the furred hands and face of Waldemar, we see something real, something tactile. Maybe I'm going overboard with the praise, but if you've seen the earlier Daninsky movies, you'll know that in most ways this is pretty damn good comparatively. This is in no way a detriment to the film, the setting comes with a compliment of stunning ruins, creepy castles, and decadent furniture that are all pleasing to the eye.
