Subtitles were a little too quick to read at times, but very fluid storytelling. Discouraged, as I was very intrigued by the topic. The film's director is Maksim Bespalyi (Максим Беспалый) and he has made better films later on in his career and his later work is worth checking out if you're interested in Russia. It is pretty accurate historically, although it picks and chooses which facts it presents and which it doesn't.
