Staff hang out at the bar drinking which I have never seen happen before. We had three nights of pure relaxation. Yes, it is 0.6 km away from the centre of Fitzroy Island. The food was inedible and incredibly overpriced. Fitzroy Island is wonderful, the colour of the water, the snorkelling, the fish, the turtles, Nudy Beach, Foxy's Bar and jug of Sangria.

The room we were given was great, but a little disappointed there was no early check in available considering the arrival time of the Ferry at Midday and when you arrive with children and bags to a beach it would be nice to have the option even to pay for an early checkin especially considering fewer people due to Covid.
There is a short walk to Nudie Beach, where there is a coral sand beach and some small patches of coral to view. Do not waste your money on staying at this resort. Our 2 bedroom suite had the most amazing views of the beach and we could just step out to fantastic snorkeling with turtles, stingrays and a huge array of fish. The pool is stained with a rust color. The snorkelling and hikes were good but and kept us busy for the 3 days we were there.
