All actors are believable but I can understand that the retarded one is for some hard to swallow. Everyone seems to like holiday horrors, yet to my knowledge there's never been one set at Easter. Always looking out for independents I came across this flick at a horror convention.

Unbeknownst to the Simmons', Remington happens to be a heartless murderer. And the ending is a truly great ending that needs to be seen to be believed. Glad that I have seen the unrated version, guess it was the first Easter flick I watched. I saw Easter Bunny Kill Kill the way it was meant to be viewed, a bunch of mates, beers and popcorn. The first 45 minutes it's all about getting to know the new formed family and the wrong things about the stepfather.
Easter Bunny Kill Kill! Most of the action takes place on Easter, which makes for a very interesting theme throughout the movie. I wasn't familiar with Charlotte Marie and Ricardo Gray before, but I will keep one eye out for more of their work. After watching Chad Ferrin's Unspeakable, I had mixed feelings.

Muskatell impresses yet again, this time playing one twisted puppy named Remington, a criminal lowlife who sweet talks his way into the home of Mindy, a nurse with a special needs son. This movie was the best I've seen in a long time that tried to capture the intenseness of exploitation, but what separates this one from the others is that it actually does it, at times it was like watching a movie from the exploitation era. I hate to get peoples hopes up but this is a great horror film. Nicholas is a 16-year-old boy with the mental capacity of a 6-year-old.
Has the Easter Bunny shown up to dole out the retribution? Mindy leaves Remington to take care of Nick on Easter and help him have fun but once she leaves Remington takes great pleasure in abusing Nicholas and even sells his body to be molested. I liked the cinematography and the approach to the characters. Nicholas's mother Mindy is a single mom who has a scum bag boyfriend named Remington played flawlessly by Tim Muskatell. This movie, along with Chad Ferrin's other works, are like sampling food at Costco - tasty tidbits that melt in your mouth, but don't quite fill you up.

After a shocking opening and initial introduction of the main characters it doesn't take long for the fun stuff (the murders) to begin. This movie started VERY strong. Directed by Chad Ferrin.
But fear not, because now we finally have ourselves a bonafide Easter slasher! Kill!.

Ultimately, I was left feeling like Chad Ferrin's debut was missing something.
The blood flows frequently. | It is really a slow starter, before things really go wrong it takes 45 minutes into the film. The closest thing would be debatable horror The Passion of the Christ which I believe took place mainly on Good Friday, though it's difficult to tell exactly due to the noticeable lack of giant rabbits handing out chocolate to kids.
Then again, it was disturbing and gory. Bizarre, funny, and brutally violent, this movie will make the gorehundts giddy w/ glee, while others might flee from the room! On one hand, it's disturbing and gory. This film is not a physclocial thriller, with well-involved plot lines and dramatic interludes, this film is Horror movie fun, the way it's meant to be!!!
Easter Bunny Kill Kill! While most sleaze-abundant movies do sound pretentious, this one in particular feels uncomfortably sincere. But luckily there are some misleads in the plot. Ricardo Gray plays a special needs teen that you can relate to and make you wish you had a bunny to take care of your problems also.
